Pool Rules: Conduct
1. The pool is for the exclusive use of members and their guests. Members are responsible for the proper conduct of their guests.
2. Guests will be permitted at the pool only when accompanied by the member. Guest Passes must be purchased in advance via this website. (NO CASH OR CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED). No more than twelve (12) guest passes per household may be used on the same day.
3. Children under 15 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult (15 years or older) and must remain with the adult for their entire stay in the pool area. Children may not be “dropped off” at the pool unaccompanied by an adult.
4. Noise shall be kept to a minimum.
5. Pool furniture shall be used in a responsible manner and shall not be removed from the pool area nor moved in such a way as to impede free movement around the pool.
Safety
1. All persons using the pool area do so at their own risk and assume sole responsibility for any accident or injury in connection with such use and agree not to make a claim against the Board/Owner/Agent/Pool Attendant for any loss or damage to life, limb, or property.
2. The pool attendant is responsible for pool procedures and rules enforcement. He/she has full authority while on duty. The pool attendant’s direction is to be followed at all times. Report any accident or injury to the pool attendant on duty immediately. FAILURE TO OBEY CONDUCT, SAFETY OR HEALTH RULES MAY RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EVICTION FROM THE POOL AND/OR SUBSEQUENT SUSPENSION OF POOL PRIVILEGES AND MEMBERSHIP.
3. Access may be limited or denied at the sole discretion of the pool manager or pool attendant based upon bather load capacity.
4. Bobbie pins, hairpins, and other such materials shall be removed before entering the pool.
5. Running, pushing, excessive splashing, or roughhousing will be not permitted in the pool or the pool area.
6. Toys, balls, and other water sports equipment will only be permitted where space allows and provided that they are used in a manner which is not hazardous to others. Size of inflatables will be strictly limited to swim ring dimensions. Rafts and other large inflatables will not be permitted in the pool or the pool area. Members must remove any toys/inflatables or other personal property when they leave the pool; they will not be stored at the pool. Members must comply with the requests of the pool attendant to remove an object.
7. Pets are not permitted in the pool house, pool, or pool deck.
8. Tricycles, bicycles, baby carriages, strollers, and other vehicles are not allowed in the pool sundeck area.
9. No glass containers are allowed within the pool area. NO SMOKING will be permitted in the pool house, pool, or pool deck area. Members wishing to snack at the pool must do so in the area posted as an eating area. Full meals and catering (e.g. pizza, etc.) are not permitted anywhere in the pool house, pool, or pool deck area. Members must respond to the pool attendant when asked to move to a posted area.
10. Throwing anything into the pool, including children, is not permitted.
11. At the top of the hour all swimmers may be asked to exit the pool upon notice from the pool attendant in order to do a maintenance check.
Health
1. Babies in regular diapers will not be permitted in the water at any time. BABIES MUST WEAR SWIM DIAPERS. Changing of diapers on the pool deck is not permitted. Changing stations and disposal bins are located in the pool house.
2. Showers shall be taken before entering the pool.
3. Admission to the pool and pool enclosure is refused to all persons having contagious diseases, infectious conditions, open wounds, or bandages.
Member ID
All Adult Members must present a picture ID with a Dearborn Park address upon entering the pool. Members who are not residents of 1143 or 1169 S Plymouth Court must also show proof of payment.
